Itinerary - Formentera, Spain

May 23 thru 31, 2020

DAY #1

Arrival to Ibiza

Arrive to the airport, grabbing the first taxi you see for a 10 minute transfer to our hotel.  Check-in and unwind.  There is a movement session to shake out the jetlag, a walking tour of Dalt Vila, Ibiza's precious old town, and of course dinner and dancing.  Let's get it out of our systems before heading to tranquil Formentera for an abundance of fitness, fun, beaches, and a total of 5 running/walking races.

DAY #2

Ferry to Formentera

Obviously we sleep in, then breakfast at our hotel.  At 2:00pm a 30 minute ferry ride takes us to Formentera where our Meharis are waiting.  A short drive  to Hotel Blanco, where guests have the afternoon to settle in, grab lunch, go for a walk on the water, or lie by the pool.  In the evening we have a Lipstick Stretch session, followed by a relaxing dinner and a chat about the gorgeous, sporty, fit and fun week ahead. 

DAY #3

Bikes, Beach, Race #1

The day begins with coffee, a Lipstick Stretch session, then breakfast.  In the afternoon we ride bikes to the beach for our first glimpse of why Formentera is known for its stunning coastline.  Lunch is picnic style at the beach.  At 5:00pm we head to race #1 at La Mola.  This stage begins at 6:30pm and is 9.2km ... run or walk.  The event hosts walking options for every stage.  After, we enjoy a scrumptious dinner.  

DAY #4

Bikes, Beach, Race #2

The day starts with coffee and a small breakfast.  At 7:30am we depart for race #2 at Cap de Barbaria.  This stage begins at 9:00am and is 7.8km ... run or walk.  After, we head back to the hotel for some relaxation.  In the afternoon we bike to Chezz Gardi for lunch on the beach.  In the evening we have a restorative Lipstick Stretch followed by a delicious dinner.

DAY #5

Bikes, Race #3, Morning Pasta Party

The day starts with coffee and a small breakfast.  At 7:30am we depart for race #3 at Cala Saona.  This stage begins at 9:00am and is 8km ... run or walk.  There is a post race pasta party, after which we head back to the hotel to relax.  In the afternoon we take a bike tour of Sant Ferran and Sant Francesc villages.  In the evening we have a restorative Lipstick Stretch and a delicious dinner.

DAY #6

Race #4, Sunset SUP

The day starts with coffee and a small breakfast.  At 7:30am we depart for race #4 at La Savina.  This stage begins at 8:30am and is 8km ... run or walk.  This afternoon is free.  Take your bike for a spin around the island, lie on the beach, read a book.  At 6:30pm we depart for Sunset Stand Up Paddle.  Dinner is just after paddling.

 

DAY #7

Rest Day and Bike to Beso Beach

Today we sleep in.  At 9:00am there is a restorative Lipstick Stretch session, followed by breakfast.  In the afternoon, we bike to Beso Beach for a fun lunch at a popular spot.  Dinner is solo tonight but we will offer options.  It is also possible to schedule an evening massage.  Tomorrow is the longest stage of the race.

DAY #8

Race #5

The day starts with coffee and a small breakfast.  At 7:30am we depart for race #5 at La Mola.  This stage begins at 9:00am, either a 21k run or 9k walk.  There is a post race paella and beer party, after which we head back to the hotel to relax.  A Lipstick Stretch is at 6:00pm, then at 8:00pm we depart for race celebrations thrown by the event ... dinner, music, dancing, fun.  Boho Chic is the theme for the night! 

DAY #9

Home Sweet Home

Departures are today.  You'll leave with amazing memories, an all new set of girlfriends, and an entirely detoxed mind and body.
