Your adventure begins in Rome for one beautiful day and night, before heading into Umbria. Our hotel in Umbria is a stone farmhouse, renovated with environmentally friendly, natural architecture. From here we will visit Assisi, Orvieto, Civita di Bagnoregio, and the Monte Rufeno Natural Reserve.

DAY #1

Arrival to Rome-Benvenuto

Check in to the Gambrinus Hotel.  Meet and greet with your fellow travelers.  Explore the Via Veneto and Rome.  In the evening, LindaFit Welcome Dinner at Al forno Della Soffita, just across from the Gambrinus Hotel.  A beautiful night's sleep will then prepare you for the week ahead.

DAY #2

Travel to our hotel in Umbria

Breakfast at Gambrinus Hotel.  Depart by bus and travel to Castel Giorgio, Umbria to Locanda Locanda La Quercia.  Check in and explore property.  In the afternoon we have LindaFit Pilates Plus class, followed by lunch.  Free time is allotted to releax, swim, visit the spa, enjoy a massage.  After an unforgettable dinner, there will be a LindaFit Pilates Plus light class, plus meditation and group chat.

DAY #3

Hike to Monte Rufeno Natural Reserve

Morning mobility and meditation, plus daily habits and rituals, followed by breakfast.  After some relaxation, a late morning LindaFit Pilates Plus Class.  In the afternoon we have lunch, followed by a soothing, sensory hike to the Monte Rufeno Natural Reserve with its mixed woods, streams, ponds and flowers.  In the evening, dinner is at our hotel, then a LindaFit Pilates Plus class, with a special focus on healthy hips and shoulders.  Before bed, meditation and rituals for a good nights sleep.

DAY #4

Day Trip to Assisi

Mobility work, stretches, meditation and daily habits, all in preparation for a spectacular day.  After breakfast we depart for a full day trip to Assisi where we visit the charming city St Francis made famous and its magnificent Cathedral.  A packed lunch is enjoyed in nature.  Dinner is back at our sweet farmhouse, followed by evening peace meditation, gratitude, and positive affirmations.

DAY #5

Fitness, Free Time, and Wine Tasting

Morning mobility and meditation, daily habits and rituals, followed by breakfast.  Late morning is a LindaFit Pilates Plus Class.  In the afternoon we have lunch, followed by personal time.  Guests may choose to read, relax, swim, stroll, sleep, bike, or book a massage.  Late afternoon is a LindaFit Pilates focus on posture and core strength for a healthy pain free spine.  Dinner tonight includes a wine tasting.  Before sleep ... evening meditation, goal setting, intentions, and visualizing the future.

DAY #6

Orvieto and a PIzza Party

Mobility work, stretches, meditation and daily habits, then breakfast.  Late morning is a LindaFit Pilates Plus class.  In the afternoon, we depart for a trip to Orvieto with its medieval streets and inspiring Duomo, and to Civita di Bagnoregio ... an old “dying city” noted for its Etruscan architecture and exotic location overlooking the Tiber River Valley.  A packed lunch is enjoyed in nature.  In the evening, LindaFit Pilates Plus with closing meditations and discussion.  Dinner is a Pizza Party!

DAY #7

Ciao Italia

Mobility work, stretches, meditation and daily habits, then breakfast.  11:00am we depart from our precious farmhouse with exceptional memories, a new tool box full of ways to create a beautiful life, and an all new set of incredible friends.

In the heart of verdant Umbria, in Castel Giorgio, only hills and nature surround the Locanda La Quercia hotel, a charming farmhouse renovated according to natural architectural principles. Completely environmentally friendly, the farm was built to satisfy those who seek to regain energy and wellbeing authentically. There is a holistic spa with yoga room, a restaurant with local, fresh cuisine, and seventeen rooms with en-suite bath and A/C. Surrounding the farmhouse is a green park with oak trees, century-old plants, and three natural spring water pools surrounded by volcanic rock, connected by a system of rocky waterfalls, with a large whirlpool bath in the center.  The entire property is exclusive to LindaFit guests.

Linda Farrell has been a Pilates mat teacher for the last 25 years at Equinox and Broadway Dance Center in New York City.  She is the creator of the highly acclaimed LindaFit Pilates Mat Teacher Training Program, established in 2004 with over 60 trainings and 100’s of LindaFit teachers working nationally and internationally.  Linda is also the creator of the LindaFit Pilates Plus YouTube channel, offering Pilates, yoga, barre, strength, qi gong, and cardio workouts.  This popular channel has over 3000 subscribers and fans throughout the world. Linda’s knowledge, experience, precise cueing, soothing voice, kindness and compassion have made her a sought out teacher in the classroom, on-line, and at fitness conferences and events.
 
Linda's media credits include features in Fitness, Prevention, and Elle magazines, and appearances on the NBC Today Show, and Live! with Regis and Kelly.  Linda earned her MBA in Marketing from Baruch College and a BA in Economics from Oneonta.  She is a certified NCPT through the Pilates Method Alliance (PMA), an ACE certified personal trainer and a certified yoga teacher through the White Lotus Foundation in Santa Barbara, California.

Mark Wood's distinguished hospitality career is best characterized by facilitating and producing world-class openings, successfully launching new brands, extending brands into new markets and mastering high profile openings and turnarounds.  He was responsible for the successful openings and turnarounds of restaurants and hotels such as Asia de Cuba, China Grill, COMMUNE, Canteen, Commissary, Disney Resorts Grand Floridian Beach Resort, Red Eye Grill, Rum Jungle, Red Square, Waldorf=Astoria, Tavern on the Green and various Ian Schrager Hotels including St Martins Lane, Sanderson, Mondrian, Delano, Liquiteria, and Blue Print Cleanse.  Mark's hospitality experience is derived from iconic brands in the most challenging markets of London, New York, Las Vegas, Las Angeles, and Miami.

Mark passionately pursues health, fitness, the healing arts and spirituality.  He is a life long athlete, and competitive business leader, who has made "peak performance processes" the centerpiece of his focus and engagement.  Mark also has a passion and love for the the healing arts and spirituality.  He studied yoga and meditation with Baba Hari Dass at the Mount Madonna Center in California and earned a master certification in Polarity at the Polarity Institute on Ocars Island in Washington.  Wood employed these skills in establishing a Wellness Center at the Seattle Pike Place Market complex.  Later on in his career, Mark combined his hospitality and wellness skills as a Director for Equinox Health & Fitness Clubs, making "peak performance processes" a centerpiece of his focus and engagement. A life long athlete, Mark instilled the value of teamwork and goal accomplishment into his daily chats with his subordinates and uses a similar platform in his inspiring group chats on fitness retreats.
